Hello there! My name is Casey and I am the face behind These Full Hands. I’m here to encourage you to see your role as a woman, wife, and mother as an opportunity to glorify God in your home and family.
What You Can Expect Here…
Have you heard the saying, “If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart.”
Or, have you ever been out shopping or at the park with your children and a well-meaning stranger notices your cute but noisy crowd and says, “My, you sure have your hands full!”
The difference between these two sayings is striking to me. The first implies, or confirms rather, that full hands are a blessing. The latter implies burden.
As wives, mothers, workers of the home, friends, sisters, entrepreneurs, workers out of the home, bloggers, and so on; that description fits. Each area is filled with so many things we have to be thankful for. It is all a matter of perspective.
Do we perceive all the things, people, and tasks that God has given us and set before us as burdensome things to manage or survive? Or do we perceive them as opportunities to glorify Him and His work in our life to those close to us and those looking in?
This is my mission and my aim. To share with you all what God has taught me and to help you navigate a life of full hands, giving glory to your Creator God.
How My Hands are Full…
In my close circles I am known as the bubbly and encouraging one. Building others up brings me great joy; making people smile, helping others to see the good, and pointing them to Christ.
As a wife and homeschooling mother to three charming and adventurous boys, as well as a daycare provider to 4 little ones, my days, and hands, are full of meeting needs. We are also one of the plant families of our church that launched spring of 2023. Serving the body, helping lead worship, and teaching Sunday school provides opportunities for edifying sisters in Christ and young believers.
I have always been one to have many interests and never shy away from trying new things. Except skydiving… I have no desire to fall out of an airplane. So, I will keep my feet on the ground and stick to what I love; my Jesus and knowing Him more, and my family.
As a Christian Wife and Mother
I don’t know that I recall homemaker as one of the dream jobs from my childhood. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but it was usually “in addition” to a career. Marine biologist, an interior designer, a writer, an artist, or a teacher. But when I actually became a mother, all my desires changed. Even more so as our family and my faith have grown. Now, as a wife and mother, I am a teacher, a writer, an artist, a nurse, an interior designer, a chef, (when we did an ocean unit study, I felt like a marine biologist), as well as many others.
So, here I am, with hands and heart full, sharing with you the fruit of those changes.
I desire to make a home that my family views as a sanctuary.
Where people feel welcome and comfortable.
Have a family that serves others and works hard.
Build a marriage that portrays the picture of Christ and His bride.
Raise young men who are strong, courageous, humble, kind, hard-working, loving protectors, and servant leaders.
Be a mother-teacher who homeschools with a biblical worldview that teaches our boys to think critically and biblically about everything and sets them up for a full life of learning.
Serve in ministry that edifies and builds up in the truth of the Word.
In a few words, make a home and family for God’s glory. And in so doing, and sharing, helping you to do the same in your own unique way that glorifies God.
As a Home and Family For God’s Glory
I believe that what we do in our homes pours out into our communities and becomes our witness to the world of the gospel message.
In our homes, that looks like creating a space ready for hospitality toward friends, family, and strangers. A refuge of comfort and peace that doesn’t overwhelm, but invites rest and play. A space that is ready for fun and creativity to be expressed.
In our families, that looks like building biblical literacy in ourselves and those we love through discipleship, family worship, and study. It also looks like navigating all of our relationships through a biblical lens being ready to serve and love one another. We work together to create an atmosphere of grace and humility.
I pray you find lots of encouragement, some inspiration, and a few nuggets of wisdom here.
How Full Hands Overflow
I deeply believe that by changing the language and perspective that surrounds marriage and motherhood in today’s culture, we can thrive in the freedom of Christ and make kingdom impact in our homes that ripples out into our communities. The biblical design for marriage, motherhood, and womanhood are not archaic and stuffy. They are a beautiful reflection of God’s creation and His sovereign design.
My prayer is that your time spent here has you feeling encouraged by the words you read, and inspired by the ideas you found. And more importantly, I pray you are reminded to look to Christ. He is where our hope and joy are found. He is our true rest. And for His glory alone do we live, love, and serve in our homes and families.

I’m glad you’re here!
